Classic Hollywood Musical
This is such a great musical film, made in the 1950's mostly indoors on sound stages. This makes the film extra charming and entertaining. The acting, singing and dancing is wonderful. My favourite scene is the Polecat number. The song is catchy and funny, and the choreography and dancing are superb. This movie along with the Sound of Music is one that I can watch again and again. this film has the lot,humour with great dancin set to some brilliant songs. this film really needs the powers that be to restore this masterpeice and give it to us on the bluray format. until then i'll just have to watch on dvd.
