Bought this lock because I heard it was easy to use and really strong and it is exactly that. Not only is it perfect for preventing thieves from stealing your pride and joy it also goes on with ease and doesn't damage your steering wheel like some other lock can. Overall I'm extremely happy and that's why this lock deserves a five star rating.

Lightweight by today's standards, easily forcibly removed. Poor quality.
Visual deterrent only, easy to remove. Lightweight product, core components are thin flat steel and poor brittle plastic, locking mechanism is simply a snap-in affair made of very low quality metal. No real strength to the locking head or blade that goes through the steering wheel, can be removed quite easily with a large enough flat blade screwdriver or similar implement to force the jaws apart, the lock just pops out as the poor quality thin metal around the central locking pin just distorts, allowing the pin to pop out and the jaw then drops open. Visual deterrent only, looks stronger than it really is. I use it as a secondary lock to a stronger 'bar' type immobiliser that is less visible through the windscreen.Visual deterrent only, easy to remove. Best security device for smart key entry cars
I bought 3 of these in the past. They are the best steering locks out there.. very strong and easy to use. I bought a car with keyless entry and start. The mechanic i use says these are the best security device for these type of entry cars. Great deterrent from car thieves. And great price.

Great Visual none tech. Anti Theft Device
Got this teamed up with a cat 1 alarm & immobiliser on my classic car, back in the day I did fit a tracker to similar car but the contracts cost a lot & now it’s no guarantee as the thieves either disable tracker & unmotivated police force who say they don’t have time to hunt for the car. Having used one of these on the motorhome for many years, I decided to get one for the new motorhome. When I tried to fit it how it should be fitted, it pressed on the horn therefore with a bit of a bending and altering it now fits good. With most vehicles having an airbag in the centre of the steering wheel, it has made the centre of the steering wheel too high to fit this item correctly, so a bit of alterations is required, as it is with my FIAT DUCATO, other than that I think it is an excellent product, but the manufacturer needs to make some adjustments to allow for this problem.Having used one of these on the motorhome for many years, I decided to get one for the new motorhome.
