Having read this story many times to children during a long teaching career, I now have the pleasure of buying it to read to my grandchildren. A timeless, well loved story by a very popular author.

Fantastic book children and parents enjoy together
I was trying to teach my 4 year old bones in the body. Thinking back to my childhood I remembered a song about it going something like " the foot bone connected to the leg bone. The leg bone connected to the hip bone " and so on. I knew I had seen it in a book so asked about on face book what the book was called I also remeber "in the dark dark street there was a dark dark house. In the dark dark house there was a dark dark staircase " and so on. After finding the name from my fellow facebookers I looked on eBay. When the book arrived I read it to my daughter singing the bones song. It brought back good memories and she loves the book. It is abit like sharing my child hood with her. Just as I remembered!
Got this as a birthday gift from my 2 yr old to his dad and we still enjoy it (unbelievable after a million times of reading it!) both of us read it as kids so was nice to be able to share it with our son

Fantastic for boys and ungirly girls!
